What is Healthy Fast Food ?

What is healthy fast food or should I say is there any healthy fast food. The answer to that is yes and no. I’m going to try to break this down to you as best as I can.

Every restaurant some form of healthy food one way or another.

The question is what to order or look out for.

So I’m going to give you a little insight what to watch for when to go to these restaurant

Here are 3 tips to keep in mind when you go into a restaurant.

 

 

Keep an eye out for Liquid Calories.

    Liquid calories are the worst, I mean it is so easy to drink that soda

drink or even a milk shake with a healthy lunch. Believe me you don’t need calories without nutrients, soda fruit drinks sweet tea. Or worst yet the drinks with fat in them like shakes.

These are the drinks I love and there is a battle going off in my head every time I walk into a restaurant. I am the first to admit that I’m not perfect and I screw up all the time. But I keep trying. Now I know this is hard I struggle with everyday. But I keep trying no matter what…

Condiments be very cautious!


Condiments are the best and I love them. This is another one that just fries my brain. I mean I think about it but I still put it on. I have a problem paying for food that I don’t like because of condiments On the other hand I try to stay away from fast food all together

    Oil base condiments like ranch dressing and mayonnaise are two to name a few.

 

These things add a lot of fat and calories so trying using, mustard, catsup, BBQ sauce or marinara sauce

 

Keep your portion sizes small. This is Key

When ordering at a restaurant always order the smallest on the menu. This is very important to remember.

Avoid supersize and value menu. Try to stay away from burgers with two or three patties, just order a regular one or even a children size. No large fries always small.

Always pay addition to grilled or roasted meats such as skinless chicken or roast beef and ham. Stay away from anything breaded and fried
